Get involved: The “Paddle For the Bay”, a paddling event in Virginia Beach, Virginia is designed to raise money for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the primary organization dedicated to saving this national treasure. It is our hope that through such an event, many people will also be educated about the current condition of the bay and will learn what can be done to save it for future generations. For more information, contact the Chesapeake Bay Foundation at www.cbf.org. We encourage that both the recreational paddlers and the racers collect pledge money to help support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
