Sea Kayak Discovery Weekend
Year after year, SKDW continues to be our most popular instructional event - in fact, some of our guests return year after year!

In 3 days, we can cover it all: basic and advanced strokes and rescues, towing, navigation, surf kayaking... plus have time for nature walks & paddles, sunrise/sunset paddles and much more! We'll provide all necessary paddling gear - you simply bring "clothes to paddle in" & "clothes to lounge around in".

Our home base for the weekend is an air-conditioned lodge with full facilities and after a day on the water, we know you'll have worked up an appetite - so let our dedicated chef delight you with some fabulous meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner each day).

Kids Kayak Camp
Back again in 2008 - but this year, parents are invited to participate! 
Are your youngsters itching to try out kayaking? Do you want them to learn the necessary paddling skills in a controlled, safe environment – and have fun at the same time? This 2-day program, filled with skills and activities, will more than wet their appetite! Participants will first learn all about kayaks, paddling strokes, safety and rescues (yes, we will be getting wet). On day 2, we’ll pack our kayaks and venture off on a short day trip, learning about our coastal environment, local wildlife, and nautical “rules of the road”. Our instructors and guides are specifically trained for this event – and we’ll have as much fun as the youngsters! 

Prerequisite: absolutely none!
Ages: 8 - 16 years old
Duration: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM each day
Cost: $135.00, which includes kayaks & all paddling gear
