Wild River Outfitters Touring Company employs a wide range of individuals throughout our peak paddling season (May-September) and some year-round! If you are an experienced paddler - or even a "novice" who is eager to increase your paddling skills, then WROTC might have a job for you!

We provide extensive "pre-season" training to all of our Instructors and Guides - and that training continues throughout the year. Our instructional events are staffed with a minimum of one American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified "Lead" Instructor and a qualified assistant - and quite often two or even three ACA Certified Coastal Kayak Instructors.

Our Lead and Assistant Guides also follow a structured, in-house qualification process. Our guide training program has proven to be essential in building strong leadership skills, increasing confidence on the water and enhancing our guides knowledge of the waterways that they guide on. As you would expect, all of our instructors and guides maintain current First Aid and CPR qualifications, with several having advanced qualifications.
